Princess Sumaya University for Technology's Business Administration Program Obtains Accreditation from the HR Certification Institute (HRCI)

The Business Administration program at King Talal School of Business Technology has earned accreditation from the Human Resources Certification Institute (HRCI®). This accreditation aligns the program with the competencies and career domains required for the Associate Professional in Human Resources - International (aPHRi) certification offered by HRCI, making it the first program in Jordan to meet these international standards in human resources.

The University President, Prof. Wejdan Abu Elhaija, praised the recent accreditation achieved by King Talal School of Business Technology, further elevating its already distinguished record of accreditations obtained. She highlighted the significant impact of this accreditation on enhancing the university's reputation and the success of its business administration students in both academic and professional realms.

Expressing her dedication to advancing the educational experience, Abu Elhaija emphasized the need to continually improve and modernize the programs at King Talal School of Business Technology to meet with the evolving demands of the job market.

The Dean of King Talal School for Business Technology, Dr. George Sammour, emphasized the importance of this accreditation in preparing graduates for both local and global job markets. He pointed out that it helps students to be competitive for positions in human resources, allowing them to pursue professional certifications such as aPHRi™ and PHRi™ after passing proficiency exams. This gives graduates an advantage when seeking employment in esteemed business organizations.

It is noteworthy that all academic programs at King Talal School of Business Technology hold international accreditation from the International Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB), focusing on business education development. Additionally, the bachelor's and master's programs in e-marketing and social communication are accredited by the Chartered Institute of Marketing's Global accreditation CIM. Furthermore, the Accounting Program is accredited by the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and holds the Certified Management Accountant (CMA) designation from the Institute of Management Accountants (IMA).

Furthermore, the Human Resources Certification Institute (HRCI) is US-based organization that offers certifications in human resource management (HRM). These certifications, awarded upon successful completion of competency exams, cover HRM practices, policies, and principles.
